Woodcroft Quarry in The Wye Valley is for Sale

Woodcroft Quarry
For sale, Woodcroft quarry. A limestone quarry, for sale as a potential venue for a climbing business or club.
The Quarry
Woodcroft Quarry was quarried from around 1956 to 1962. It actually forms part of Wintourʼs Leap, described by UK Climbing as ʻThe gem of the Wye Valleyʼ, featuring extremely varied and challenging climbing on superb limestone.
The quarry has already been unofficially developed as a climbing venue, and features a good selection of both trad and sport bolted routes, ranging from VS to E4 and F4+ to F6c +
This would make an ideal venue for a climbers club or training school, looking for a private venue away from the crowds. Or a business that caters for the climbers that already use the venue.
