The BMC’s Better Bolts campaign 2011

Bolt fund activists will be pleased to learn that the BMC are inviting applications for donations for improving the standards of bolting on sport climbs.

The BMC has allocated £10,000 from the 2010 budget, to be spent on bolts and lower off’s. These will be given away to local groups for re-equipment projects. Projects which have benefited from BMC help in previous years include Lower Pen Trwyn, Portland, N. Wales Slate, St. Bees and Frogsmouth Quarry.

If you’re interested, head over to the BMC web site to fill out your application.

It's good to share!
