Must read campus board advice from the BMC
The BMC has issued guidance on campus board use.
The guidance has been issued following the recent BMC Climbing Injury Symposium after concerns that people, especially young people, may not be aware of the risks of using such apparatus.
The guidance is based on our current state of medical and physiological knowledge about fingers and growth plate development.

This is a must-read, especially for you young climbers out there. It has to be said that campus boarding is a dangerous activity. Your fingers are not designed to continually take those kinds of stresses.
Head over to the BMC for the full story.
Take care of your fingers because once you injure them, you’ll have recurring problems that may hinder your climbing for life.
