And the changes are not just skin deep.

After a year as basically my blog, we’ve switched the format of Rock Climbing UK to an online rock climbing magazine.

Content is no longer supplied solely by, me, Gareth Hanson (now Editor-in-Chief!), but by multiple contributors, each with their own experience and perspective.

We’d love you to become a contributor too, and there are more details on our ‘guest post policy’ page here.

We decided to switch up a gear largely due to the site’s growing popularity. We decided that the site ought needed to be bigger, better and more varied to meet growing demand. Thus far, the support we have received has been fantastic. Thank you everyone for your support and visits so far, it’s hugely appreciated. Things are only going to get even better around here.

If you have something to say about rock climbing—through the mediums of words, images, video or audio—drop us a line. We would love to have you on board.

We especially need:

Crag and route reviews

Climbing book or equipment reviews

Climbing techniques

Climbing knots

To get involved, simply email me, Gareth Hanson, gareth(at)rockclimbinguk.co.uk. Find out more about what we’re looking for on our ‘guest post policy’ page.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Enjoy the new look magazine, subscribe to the RSS feed, and we’ll see you out on the crag sometime.
