Have you got what it takes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro? Join us this summer.

The Child’s i Foundation, a children’s charity that helps abandoned babies in Uganda, is looking for adventurous and dedicated people to climb Kilimanjaro.

Organisers are looking for men and women, young or old, to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2011 as part of a small team.

So have you got what it takes to climb the world’s tallest free-standing mountain to help change children’s lives for the better in Uganda?

No experience is necessary, just the will and determination to succeed. Each volunteer will aim to raise £1,000 in sponsorship themselves, and cover costs including flights to Kampala and accommodation in Arusha, Tanzania. You choose where to stay, how many days you want to spend in Tanzania before and after the climb, and there is the option to visit the Malaika Babies Home in Kampala, Uganda to see the life-changing work your money will fund.

Lucy Buck, Founder of Child’s i Foundation, says:
“I’ve been completely blown away by the commitment of our supporters who are climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of Child’s i Foundation, and we hope they’ll be able to see for themselves the change their money is making to the lives of babies. We are very proud to have such a dedicated worldwide community who come up with ideas such and I look forward to hearing about this year’s climb team as it grows.”
