Climber seriously injured in fall from Raven Crag, Langdale

A climber was seriously hurt in a fall from a Lakeland crag.

Members of the Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team were called to the man’s aid after he fell about 75m (245ft) on Friday from a route on Raven Crag, near Walthwaite, Chapel Stile.
