Bedminster climber dies in tragic climbing accident at Bosherston Head
A ROCK climber from Bedminster has been killed after he was hit by falling rock while climbing with his girlfriend.
Jonathon Woods, 36, was climbing a 150ft sea cliff at Bosherston Head, near St Govans in Pembrokeshire, when the accident happened on Saturday afternoon.
An ambulance was called to the scene and Mr Woods, known as Woody, was airlifted by the RAF to Withybush Hospital.
He had suffered chest injuries and later died.
