Adam Ondra becomes a bone marrow donor

Adam Ondra has become a bone marrow donor. Pietro Dal Pra and Giovanni Spitale of Climb for Life explain this important gesture for donors and the climbing community.
Here’s some great news: Adam Ondra has become a bone marrow donor! For years we’ve been impressed by the talent of this young Cech climber and during his last trip to Spain, for example, his series of 8c+ on-sights and his 9b first ascent wrote yet another important chapter in the history of rock climbing.

Over the years Adam Ondra has often amazed us, not only as a climber but also as person. While he has transformed into a major player in the rock climbing world, he has not lost any of those qualities that distinguish his character and he has remained a humble and good-natured. Those who know him are conscious of the fact that while he’s capable of devoting full attention to his vertical life, this has in now way affected his ability to observe the world around him.

So not only is Adam Ondra an amazing climber, he’s a really nice guy too. Nice one Adam, you’re an inspiration to us all.

For those of you unfamiliar with the mind-boggling talent of Adam Ondra, here’s a video to whet your appetite.

It's good to share!
